Finding the Right Display Spot in a Small Space
In a small apartment, every surface is already doing a job. The best Labubu display spots are places that already draw the eye: a windowsill with natural light, a bookshelf you see from your main seating position, a bedside table where you wake up to it, or a desk where you work.
Avoid the temptation to scatter figures across multiple surfaces. Concentrated displays in one location look intentional. Scattered displays in five locations look like clutter even with the same number of figures.
Vertical Space: The Small Apartment Collector's Advantage
Wall-mounted shelves are underutilized by most collectors but ideal for small apartments. A narrow floating shelf at eye level holds 4–6 figures without taking any floor space. Multiple shelves at different heights create a display zone on an empty wall.
Corner shelves use otherwise dead space. A small corner bracket shelf can hold 2–3 figures in a spot that was previously unused. For collections limited by floor/desk footprint, going vertical is the most space-efficient solution.
Rotation as a Space Strategy
With limited display space, rotation keeps the collection feeling fresh without requiring expansion. Display 5–8 pieces for 2–3 months, then swap with pieces in storage. The rotation creates novelty — you get excited about seeing a piece again after it's been away, which is more satisfying than staring at the same arrangement year-round.
Keep a rotation schedule simple: when you buy something new, decide which existing piece goes into storage to make room. This naturally enforces the one-in, one-out discipline and prevents accumulation beyond your display capacity.
