Labubu Size Overview
Pop Mart produces Labubu in three main size categories: Mini series (~7cm / 2.75 inches), standard series (~17cm / 6.7 inches), and large/mega editions (28–45cm+). Not all editions are released in all sizes — some series only come in mini or standard.
The 3D printed alternatives from studios like Labubu Studio are typically 18cm — matching standard edition proportions. Same shelf presence, different material and production method.
Mini Editions: ~7cm (2.75 inches)
Mini Labubu figures stand about 7cm tall — roughly the height of a standard coffee mug. They're light and fit easily in small spaces: desk corners, bookshelf niches, or display cases with multiple figures per shelf.
Common Pop Mart mini blind boxes weigh under 50g. The level of detail is still impressive at this scale given injection molding precision — paint is applied via precision spray masking, not hand-brushed. Fakes at this size are common since the small scale makes it harder to inspect paint detail.
Standard Editions: ~17cm (6.7 inches)
Standard Labubu figures are 17cm — the size most commonly associated with the character. This is roughly the height of a standard soda can plus about 3cm. They have substantial shelf presence and work on desks, bookshelves, and display cases.
At this size, paint detail is fully visible from normal viewing distance. The character's features — eye detail, ear gradient, teeth — read clearly. Most collector discussion and resale pricing references this size unless specified otherwise.
Large / Mega Editions: 28–45cm+
Pop Mart periodically releases oversized editions of Labubu at 28cm, 38cm, or even larger for special collaborations. These are premium-priced ($100+ retail), extremely limited, and resale prices are significant.
At these sizes, display space planning matters — a 38cm figure needs a dedicated shelf and takes up a full foot of depth if the ears extend forward. They make strong statement pieces but are rarely practical for collector rooms with limited space.

Mini (~7cm): fits 4-6 per standard shelf (12 inches wide). Good for displaying a set. Requires closer viewing distance to appreciate detail. Best in glass cases where viewers lean in.
Standard (~17cm): fits 2-3 per standard shelf. Dominant at arm's-length viewing. The right size for desk display where you're 1-2 feet away regularly. Best for single-figure feature displays.
Large (28cm+): 1 per shelf, may require dedicated display. Statement piece territory. Usually only 1-2 in a collection.
Which Size to Buy
Standard (~17cm) is the right starting point for most collectors — visible detail at desk distance, fits most shelves, and available in the widest range of editions. Mini is better if you're space-constrained or want to collect full series. Large is a one-time statement purchase, not a starting point.
